What RC FamJam is

A weekend built around driving RC together as a family rather than around a single competition: open driving across the site, organised activities, and evenings on a campsite with other people who have brought their cars along. Day visitors are welcome for the main weekend days, and the people who camp get the extra sessions at each end.

RC FamJam sets its own programme, its own ticket types and its own prices. Polyapes RC hosts it and points you at it; we do not run its bookings.

RC FamJam and Polyapes RC

Polyapes RC exists at, and supports, Polyapes Scout Campsite — a working Scout site with a long history of welcoming visitors. Every visit and event helps fund new RC facilities and ideas, and helps keep the wider campsite running for the community that has always called it home.

RC FamJam is the largest event in that year, and it happens on our site. That is what “Home of RC FamJam” means: Polyapes RC is the venue and the year-round RC community around it, and RC FamJam is the weekend the wider RC world comes to us.

The rest of the year, Polyapes RC runs its own open days, events and membership — all booked here, not through RC FamJam.

Coming to Polyapes the rest of the year

RC FamJam is one weekend. Polyapes RC is open on selected dates throughout the year for crawling, trails, the construction area and the bash track.
